Last Wednesday girls’ track beat Newport and Highline at home by over 60 points, while the boys beat them by over 30 points. The girls started the meet off well with Maia Shook, Blakely Bourke, Maddie O’Brien, and Presley Premberton in the 4 x 200. They not only set a new personal best, but they also beat the closest team by 7 seconds.
Similarly, the boys’ varsity ran a great 100m with Senior Nicholas Castaneda and Jonah Thiese in first and second, respectively. Castaneda set a new personal best of 11.13 seconds and Thiese was close behind him with 11.52 seconds.
