MIHS Varsity Girls Softball was defeated in a home game against Hazen High School at the South Mercer Playfields on Wednesday, March 18. It was a tough game for Mercer, losing 21-5 in the non-league match and leaving them with a 0-2 record so far.
In the first and third innings, Hazen scored an impressive 9 and 10 runs, respectively. Over the course of 5 innings, Mercer scored 5 runs and 1 hit. Overall, it was a determined performance put up by MIHS in their second home game of the season.
