Last weekend, Mercer Island High School held their first Homecoming since the 2019-2020 school year. Since the COVID-19 Pandemic hit in early 2020, MIHS has been following regulations to combat the virus’ spread, and along with the first fully in-person school year in two years, this is also the first Homecoming held at the high school post-pandemic.
MIHS held a school-wide assembly announcing homecoming royalty after 7th period on Friday, Oct. 15, followed by the Homecoming Parade and the Homecoming Game later that evening. Photo Editor Brooks Kahsai attended and took photos of all three events for the following gallery.
